Home Remedies for Skin Whitening

  • Dry orange peels in sun. When they are fully dried, grind them in a mixture and make powder. Add raw milk to it, make a paste and apply it on your skin everyday. Rinse it off with lukewarm water when dries. It’s tested pack for skin whitening.

    Remove Scars through Herbal Ways

    Scars are the fibrous tissue formed on the skin in order to repair broken tissue. When there is an injury, the skin produces more cells in order to re-grow the punctured skin. This tissue is known as a scar.

    A scar is easily visible because the cells that go in making up the scar are of lesser quality than the original cells. For example, the scars on the skin are not able to grow any hair since they have no hair follicles. Also they are lesser-resistant to UV radiation.

    22 Herbal Tips for Skin Care!!

    1) Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day.

    2) Cut some beet root into small pieces and grind them.
    Squeeze juice from beet root and massage to your face for 5 minutes. Shower after 10 minutes with mild soap or gram flour.

    3) Mix sandalwood powder with rose water and add 4 to 5 drops of milk in it and apply on to your face and body. Shower after 15 minutes with warm water.

    4) Mix honey in water and drink daily in the morning to keep your skin shiny and smooth.

    Community tips: How I cured my acne and scars

    I had acne on my face and lots of scars too. Ever since, I started taking proper care of my skin, my skin started getting better. I do the following:

    1. Regular cleansing i.e 2 times a day and then apply Aloevera gel (pure and fresh from the plant).

    2. Apply rose water: I do it in the afternoon and at night before going to bed. By the way, whenever you apply aloe vera, do apply rose water soon after.

    • Mix equal quantities of glycerin and rose water. Store this excellent dry skin lotion in a clean bottle and apply it on dry facial skin or skin of hands and feet whenever required. It is best to be applied after having bath for those who suffer from excessive dry skin. Always shake the bottle before use as glycerin settles down at the bottom of bottle (Mix lemon juice to this mixture if you have a mixed type of skin having combination of oily and dry skin).

    What didn’t work: I was using Persa gel that contained 10% benzoyl peroxide and I was using a moisturizing face wash. It didn’t work and my acne only got worst.
